I started my photography journey in high school. In the 80's digital wasn't a thing..so I had to learn the long way. The darkroom really wasn't an experience I enjoyed, so needless to say I am thrilled that digital came along.

Learning on an Olympus OM I, I found my way around and decided that getting a close up view was what peaked my interest.

I am an artist at heart.  I've come to know that the beginning of an image does not dictate it's final form. I can be indecisive about it's development. Sometimes it does ask to be left alone. Other times it will call on me to alter it. Maybe a bit of make-up, seen in a different light or completely overhauled by a different medium and recreated in a new form.

I've been creating art since my earliest memories and have dipped my fingers into many ways to go about it.
